About DonTradeZip

Built for people who make decisions without a trading floor behind them.

DonTradeZip started as a small internal tool for analyzing data faster than a manual review allowed. It grew into a dedicated platform because the same problem — too much information, too little structured time — kept showing up everywhere we looked.

From a manual workaround to a structured process

The earliest version of DonTradeZip was a shared spreadsheet and a checklist. It worked, but it didn't scale past a handful of people paying close attention at the same time. We rebuilt it as a system so the process wouldn't depend on any one person's schedule.

Reduce the distance between data and a decision.

We're not trying to replace judgment — we're trying to remove the friction that keeps good judgment from getting applied consistently. That means fewer manual steps, clearer output, and a process that runs on a schedule instead of on willpower.

01 Structured over sporadic A process that runs the same way every day is more useful than a brilliant insight that only happens when someone remembers to look.
02 Transparent by default If a method can't be explained plainly, it doesn't ship. We favor approaches we can describe in a sentence over ones that only sound convincing in a pitch.
03 Built for remote workflows Most of the people using DonTradeZip aren't at a desk with six monitors. The product is designed around that reality, not around an ideal setup nobody has.
04 Iterated, not finished We treat the current version as a draft of the next one. Feedback from actual use changes the product more than internal opinions do.

A short list, kept short on purpose

Clarity

Plain output over polished noise

A result that takes ten minutes to explain isn't a result yet. We push toward summaries that hold up under a quick read, not just a detailed one.

Restraint

Fewer, better signals

Adding another metric is easy. Deciding it's worth someone's attention is harder. We try to earn every line that shows up in front of a user.

Accountability

Say what the process actually does

We describe our methods in terms we can stand behind, and we'd rather under-promise than have someone discover a gap between claim and reality.

A small, focused group

DonTradeZip is run by a compact team that stays close to the product and the people using it. We keep the structure lean on purpose — it's easier to stay accountable to a process when there aren't many layers between the decision and the person who made it.
